Kapolei Homes
Kapolei is located in Honolulu County, Hawaii, on the island of Oahu. Locals refer to it as the "second city" of Oahu.
The community acquired its name from a volcanic cone, Puʻu o Kapolei. In the Hawaiian language, puʻu means hill and Kapo lei means beloved Kapo. According to legend, Kapo was sister to Pele.
Kapolei is located on Oahu's south shore, about 25 miles from Honolulu. The land where Kapolei is now located was agricultural land, used for sugarcane and pineapple production. It is now a thriving community with Planned Communities, Malls, Restaurants, and Movie Theaters., and golf courses.
Attractions near by are Aulan Farms Pumpkin Festival, Hawaiian Railway 90 minute narrated tour, Germaines Luau, Wet N Wild water park & Chiefs Luau, and KO' Olina resort with 4 lagoons, sandy beaches and beach side restaurants, 4 Seasons Resort, Aulani Disney Resort, and Marriott's Ko' Olina Beach Club, Beach Villas, Golf Course that host the Lotte Championship yearly.
One of my favorite places is the Ka Makana liʻi mall with open air entertainment and farmers market.
I also frequent Kapolei Commons with nice restaurants and plenty of shopping.
